This Sunday's London Marathon.

A 101-year-old runner, Fauja Singh, who was born in India but moved to Britain in the 1960s, has completed eight marathons since taking up the sport at the age of 89.

Marvellous! Wonderful!

Welcome back!

Hi there!

Welcome back!
After such a long holiday, one feels a bit curious about what people did with their time-off; especially with that gorgeous weather which seemed to push you outdoors. Here is my Easter post!

I have been to London for the holiday. I went with my family and we stayed in a hotel near the centre. We were there for five days.
We travelled around the city by underground; we saw the Big Ben and we visited several museums. We also saw some lovely parks and, of course, we enjoyed the London Eye. We ate the traditional fish and chips and roast beef, they are delicious!

Once there it couldn't escape your notice that 2012 is a rather big year for Britain. The country is celebrating Queen Elizabeth II's 60-year reign with a host of Diamond Jubilee events and they are also getting ready for the Olympic games.

Easter chat!

You aren't going to see your partner for about two weeks, you may have lots of things to tell each other. Ask your partner:
1. What are you going to do during the Easter break?
2. What are the Spanish traditions at Easter?
( skip the skipping-rope, fly the kite, eat a bun, .....
3. Do you know any English traditions?
( give chocolate eggs, hide them and have to look for them; coloured boiled hard eggs, ....)
4.What are your commitments over the next two months?
Happy Easter!

The tradition of the Easter Hare or Easter Bunny comes from a Northern European Legend
